Price range: $200 - $300
Looking for something full size and preferably a cutaway. Looking for any suggestions (specific guitar, brands, etc.)

most brands have decent cheap aco with cut aways, for 300-400 u could get it with exotic wood on e-bay. or look into ele aco, built in tuners are nice

My friend purchased a Electro-acoustic FENDER for 280$ at the local shop. Great brand and great price.

if you are buying a foreign made guitar, you can get solid top back and sides for that price range. dont waste your money on a a mexican fender with laminate back and sides. the best (and worst) cheap guitars come from china. look into blueridge or seagull.

To add to this, Korean Telecasters are superb and I have an awesome one.
