my band is trying to come up with a relatively neutral name so we can play at college town bars, more rednecky bars (georgia, alabama, florida.. that far south), clubs, etc... we play a lot of more groove based music like citizen cope.. john butler trio.. sublime.. some rap (with more of a rock vibe).. etc. anyway, the name is Fat Pepper Blues Band.. hit or miss? i'm sure the jsp crowd won't have any trouble being honest. thanks tons.

i'd like to add that we don't play blues, and i'm aware the name suggests otherwise. we chose it because it's memorable and, well.. most people are stupid. add booze to it.. you get the idea..

What about Fat Pepper Big Band? Get some horns in, a piano, singer can have a tamborine lol.

i agree completely with what went through your mind. tryin to satisfy drunk people though, not other musicians.

i really like the big band idea, but it won't get us paid around here.
