This video gave me cancer for 2 reasons:

1) Lil Wayne
2) That guy's a moron. Thumb behind fretboard with fingers angled IS the best way to play alot of the time. For bends you obviously move your thumb up and use it to propel the bend. All classically trained players use the technique of "hiding" the thumb because it gives your fingers a wider range of motion... Example:

Wow! Look his thumb is behind the fretboard and not visible, and holy shit he's playing one of the hardest pieces ever created almost flawlessly!

One of the hardest pieces ever created?

You might want to re-adjust your standards (i.e. they're horrible).

Was a bit of an exaggeration. Still, it's pretty fucking difficult. Many violin players train for years to be able to even attempt it, and it's pretty damn hard (albeit slightly easier) on guitar too.

I can't speak for the difficulty of violin, but for guitar, this honestly isn't that difficult at all. There's nothing in this piece that requires anything above being at a decent skill level to play.
