I'm hesitating...

Should I buy a :

Gibson lespaul STUDIO for 950$ New (faded)

or

Gibson lespaul 2011 STANDARD for 1500$ Used but in good condition)

Is it worth paying an extra 550$ for a used standard? I only tried a studio and felt in love with the lespaul.

Standard all the way. I don't like the flat body of the Studio, I find it lacks the character that the Standard has.

Yes it's worth the extra $550 because I shit you not in 5 years that Standard will be worth alot more than Studio.

Way better value on that used Standard sir. If you can afford it and you like the way it feels, you won't/cant regret it. You'll get what you paid for it if you decide to sell it down the road and you have a better instrument in the meantime. Win win.

My old esp ltd with the lespaul

Both of my guitars have a lot of small scratches on the body? Whats the best polisher/buffer product to clean it?

Niiiiiiice man - not my ideal colour, but a Les Paul is a Les Paul haha :D

Get this (from a music store) to clean and maintain the body. I also recommend lemon oil for the fretboard

This kind of stuff would work the best for the scratches in the body:

Keep away from fretboard and/or unfinished wood!

Also Planet Waves has a restoration polish. Haven't tried it but that'd be the thing to use:

Btw, holy f you are lucky where you live! In Denmark, you can get a Gibson Melody Maker for 900 USD, LOL.
