hey, im looking for a website that has a free and extensive variety of simple sound files, bells whistles etc


anyone have any suggestions?

What your looking for is called "samples".

You can get sound samples from Native Instruments, Blue, and many many other places.

Most professional DAWs come with free sound samples.
Just do a couple google searches

I got my huge sound pack from looking on YouTube for sound packs 13 gig :-)

Good place to start but it might be worth buying a sample pack or two for more professionally recorded drums. You can find a variety of things on that site though, anything from drums to jungle ambiance and shit like that.
