Guitar (acoustic more than electric), bass guitar, ukulele, vocals, dabbled with banjo and mandolin, both of which I'd like to play more.

I am annoyed you put 2 guitar sections - guitar is guitar lol. I play electric, but I find myself grabbing the acoustic to jam waaaaaaaaay more often than plugging in, setting up and playing electric.

There's no need for "electric" and "acoustic/classical" being 2 seperate parts of the poll - Guitar is Guitar and should include all aspects of Guitar - coz I play both often...

I play guitar recreationally, but my actual artistic interests are in producing electronic music. I've been using my friend's mic lately to record random sounds and tweak them to build interesting, organic sounding drums or cool samples. Need to come up with some catchy, repeatable vocal melodies to utilize. There are some cool sounds I want to sample from my electric guitar though

You ever listen to musical theatre? There are some great background melodies in most of the songs - easily hummed or just sung as notes. I'll give you a list if you want. Depends on the tempo and mood you are after
