Not enough features. Name some good software to record/mix/edit with.
Logic pro is too expensive. I have both Mac Lion and Windows 7 so put 'em up B)

Audacity
SONY Sound Forge
Adobe Audition (I've always liked Adobe products)
Ableton Live
Cubase

Any of you have experience with these pieces of software? I have Ableton Live Lite that came when I got my mustang amp, and it's meh. Not sure how many more features the full version has...

while garageband itself doesn't have a lot of features there are a lot of compatible high quality plugins that make the recording much easier, granted I use logic pro mostly but I will track in garageband all the time just because it runs so smoothly and is very easy to use

Fuity Loops is used by DJs and the like. I'm not trying to make beats. The main feature I wanted to upgrade is the fairly rudimentary music-score editor in Garageband.

Something similar but more advanced would be nice.
