im thinking of this fender stratocaster thats in guitarcenter that 400 or a fender telecaster thats 800 but theres both on sale do you think these would be good to start out with? im 19

oh and they both feel great and i can picture myself play both

Start for $400 Bet it's Mexican, and I bet it plays awesomely. Tele's are nice, but Strats are Strats. I don't have one - yet - but thats only because my Korean Tele was £158 and had custom seymor duncans installed

Get a MEXICAN fender, strat or tele

I got a mexican strat on Craigslist from a guitar teacher for 380 with an amp and hardshell case. still play it now, its beautiful

nice! cool i was thinking about *** i really want a strato caster but really my limited is 400 now i forgot i have some bills to pay lol but i was thinking of going to like a pawnshop to see if i could get a guitar for like 250 or something like i already have an amp and such

a telecaster imo. well depends on the player, i personally do not like strats at all

For less than 400, i would suggest a yamaha strat shape (around 250).
Really decent guitar to start with and if you don't like playing, it wasn't a big loss

the strat for sure, but i'm biased (but not without reason). what's your amp?

idk i dont remember i got it years back works 100% but i bought it well my parents bought it lol for like 250 lol
