Boss NS-2 kinda sucks, gonna pay a little more and find something else for a better noise gate, same thing for the chorus. You get what you pay for, I guess.

ZVex first, just because his has to be first in the chain or it loses voltage and doesn't really work. Tuner second, to tune, and because it mutes when active. Wah pedal next, for placement and because, to me, wah before gain sounds better. Tube preamp next, just to toggle clean and lead channels, after this all effects go after the distorted signal, then a noise gate, then a loop station.

Yeah replace the NS2 with an ISP Decimator, the isp tracks much better and doesn't suck your tone as bad. it obviously works much better through the loop instead of the front of the amp.

ty will look into, also heard mxr makes a decent noise gate.

wait

is the decimator a silver box with one knob? I think i know that that is, is legit.

Cool dude. I have never invested any time in a pedal board, I once setup my distortion > chorus > wah together, but it didn't work properly so I gave up. TBH I don't use any effects other than reverb chorus and distortion.

What does the top left BOSS one do btw? Looks hot...

That's a boss loop station. You hit the pedal on the left to start recording, hit it again to loop, and again to add layers. It's a lot of fun to fuck around on, hard to pull off with a band.

I know what you mean about only using a couple pedals, though. There's like three pedals on my board I only use for a few measures, hahaha.

The Seymour Duncan twin tube (bottom left) is a legit preamp, highly recommend.

haha well general rule of thumb put the wah before the distortion and put the chorus in the effects loop...of course not always necessarily true!
