Right, it's gunna be a bugger to ask, and answer this..
But for my college course, we needed to compose a song. I've got keyboards (normal), bass, upbeat drums and tambourines in some parts, then at the end it's the same melody as the keys but played on strings instead. I have no idea what genre of music this would be classed as, help? Give suggestions of songs you think might be similar, I'll listen and see if they're the same.

It would be way easier than just trying to find a genre with the instruments, having no clue what kind of melody and beats are present.

If you have some horns in there, could be classed as Big Band music. Lots of awesome Big Band songs aswell

I've made it on Logic and I have no idea how I could post a sample. I suck at using computers to make music!
There are no horns, in a way it could be like, some kind of funk pop? The keyboard which is the main part of the song is a descending melody repeated over and over. It's really hard to describe! I suck at composition on Logic.

Found a few songs I think might be similar. Sad hiphop/rnb piano instrumentals. Sort of emotional, simple.
