Buying A New Guitar! - Topic

So yea, I've thought about buying a new guitar for a while, I'm 15 years old, and I really enjoy playing, music. I bought a Gibson Melody maker a few years back, when I played a lot of rock. Now I'm more into the jazzy and groovy kind of playing. Such as John Mayer Trio, etc. I've thought about a Fender Stratocaster, I really enjoy that crispy sound. But I would like some suggestions! I think I'm going to spend about 1500$ or somewhere around that. Don't dislike my English as I'm from Denmark!

Both of these and the Stratocasater will get you beautiful sounds eventually I would suggest one of each. I have a Les Paul and I love it.

I have a stratocaste and my friends uses a Les Paul.. I really like both of them, but think about what you want to play.
I love musik like Hendrix SRV Clapton etc... all of them are stratocaster player. If you like more rock and metal sound a les paul will be the better choice
