hi guys, so i recently had the urge to attempt to teach myself how to play the piano

i've been trying to find some reasonable deals on a keyboard, but i'm really not sure where to start or what to look for in a keyboard

my budget is probably $100 - 150, so i know i can't get anything high quality but just a good beginner keyboard should be fine

any help would be GREATLY appreciated, thanks!

looks to be a newer model of the one i had, just without a few extra things. i had no complaints but i am also a guitar player
has many sounds, some of which are fun/novelty
built in speakers etc
it is only $130 after all, so it wont be fantastic by any means, but itll be just fine for someone whos learning imo

hmm.. i remember seeing some cheapy keyboards that had built in songs with keys that lit up so you could follow along
otherwise its probably best to learn to read sheet music, helps a lot in general, and the books help you learn the fundamentals

To be honest your budget limits 95% of options
If the city you live in has a bargaining music shop
I would go there and try and make a deal.
If you're buying a keyboard but
rely on the feel of a piano
get weighted-keys
