so im back here again :/ its like every 2 weeks i fall apart and lose direction, have no idea if im makign progress or not. Anyway, what im looking for is a list of 20-30 songs to learn, they can be rock/blues/jazz/techno i dont care. I just need a song that has tabs that are somewhat challenging and a new thing to focus on each day, and i think this will be helpful/fun because running thru scales is getting tiresome and worse yet, i think im getting worse at everything else. I would like songs that have some kind of solo, only to make things more interesting, I dont mind practicing the chords in songs, and even singing along but solos are nice way to keep it interesting

if any of you haev a good list of music for me to throw myself at i wud be most grateful

Try using pandora to find new songs, and play them by ear.

Some fun little songs I used to practice trying to play that were pretty good for hand movement are

tetris theme
zelda theme
in the halls of the mountain king
blues progression (lol not really a song, just a scale progression)

if i cud play by ear i wudnt be in this forum asking for music to learn via tabs :P

i wud like to learn some of the jazzier chordier stuff. I think im done with practicing scales for anything but hand strength kidna stuff. its useless to me it feels like, i only play on acoustic, and i dont really play any kind of blistering solo stuff, just strummed stuff and sing along for me, so it seems like chord changes and things of that nature will be more practical practice

i suggest you start with very simple songs and start learning how to tab songs out by ear. that will help you IMMENSELY, rather than relying on tabs
