hi i have taken interest in learning how to play the acustic guitar and i'm not really sure how to purchase the right guitar for myself... and what kind of guitar would be good.
i found this guitar from a seller but not sure if the pricing or size would be right for me. i was wondering if anyone would be able to help me in learning what guitar i should buy

3/4 Montana Acustic Guitar made in Romania - price is $100 can. comes with a case and electric tuner

Nty. looks like it plays terribly.

IMO - Look at Yamaha/Fender, get an acoustic that is going to last you for a bit regardless of you playing or not.

THAT will not do when you start to make progress with your playing - that will hold you back.

i think someone should point out if ur intersted in just learning gutiar or acoustic guitar specificially

i feel like had i been more interested in electric at the start, i woudl have learned quicker. mostly because its easier to do things like h&p without hurting ur fingers as bad, and slides/bends arnt as rough etc etc, doenst take as much strength to bar.

if u do end up getting a cheap acoustic like i have been playing, its worth to invest the 10 or so dollars it costs to buy jr hacksaws, sandpaper, ruler with /32inch measurements and feeler guages, so taht u can fuss with action/bridge, relief and depth at the nut, cheap guitars normally arnt set up well, i wish i had written down the numbers on mien but i think the action was at like 9/32nd inches action at the 12 fret, the action? at the first fret was very high... at least 3-4 times what its was supposed to be, probably around .035 inches or something. I dont remember the numbers exactly, but the whole thing was set up like to be very difficult to play, and i basically shaved everything on it down ~ 75% so it plays alot easier now

/e i suppose u cud always use nylon strings or something with a very low guage, which is something that shud have been suggested to me.

mhmm i think its too much guitar-stuff for him, isnt it?
when i started to grab a guitar i had now clue about everything like string high, tuning, n stuff.

id say just get the fender squier sa-105 with a tune-machine and play the hell out of it and just dont stop
take some lessons and keep it going
and read much about geetahrs

its prtty easy to do, theres guides that have it set up to do all in a row, relief/action/nut with examples etc. its easy to do to a cheap guitar without worrying, and worst case scenario u do something dumb like cut the nut to deep, and have to have it taken in for a real setup from someone who is good at it. I didnt do things like this to my guitar till I was 3 months in, but what im trying to get across is its very nice to have a guitar thats well setup from the beginning because it might make playing for longer periods of tiem easier :P The guitars that come in a box are set up to be difficult to play, and thats not good news for someone who is just starting and having a hard enough time as it is making chord shapes without having to squeeze as hard they can as well.

In any case i wish u luck with the search :P

if your getting a guitar, get a good one.
Not worth wasting the money twice, because if you get a cheap crappy one, it will sound horrible
