I've been having problems with songwriting as all i can write is emotional messes... Like 3 Days Grace + Asking Alexandria... Any tips on how to write about anything other than heartache?

For any love-line trollers... please no comments like "stop banging jailbait...", "don't date 12-year olds", etc... they'll be ignored

and if anyone's actually interested in what i wrote, pm me.

I never wrote lyrics so I might not be the best person to advice, but try to find a specific theme or something and stick along it.

Maybe even try to just tell a story; do a concept album.

Emotion is usually the most exploited theme as it's really easy to come up with "cheesy" lines and stuff.

Listen to rap music.
