i took like a 2 week hiatus from guitar, bcuz of ladder reset and general frustration with the guitar... anyway, im looking for some new stuff to learn i guess, any suggestions would be nice. anything ranging from beginner-intermediate, and fun to play would be nice as well. lmk wat u think

Depends on ur genre preference. some easy ones i like to play are:

Afternoon Delight by Starland Vocal Band
Lookin Out My Back Door by CCR
Have You Ever Seen The Rain by CCR
Tangerine by Led Zeppelin
Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd

i like to play ones that a lot of people know cuz then they're more likely to get involved with ya =D
CCR has a lot of easy songs; infact i could just about play their entire greatest hits without even looking at tabs or music.

so far ive pretty much learned the unplugged version of layla, 1979, luna, taylor, a few easy finger picked classical songs, and a smashing pumpkins one i forget the name of, few easy lemonheads/nirvana songs and some other stuff. but its like even if u can play 95% of the song perfect, that last 5% makes me frustrated as shit

stairway is pretty easy all the way through tbh lol

i learnt to fingerpick on stairway. I know I had all sorts of issues when i first tried it but once you learn the shapes that your left hand is supposed to be doing the rest of it its pretty easy

Yeah, Stairway is fine to play - just learn the chord shapes and play them note for note is all.

Will take some time to get used to them, but it isn't as hard as it seems.

Gotta learn the chords though.
