Basically most people fall under either the Gibson or Fender.

Gibson being more heavy set, fat sounding, wide neck, very rich guitar.
Fender being more light, fast paced, more jazzy sounding

Just out of curiosity; want to see the more pouplar style!
Some people swear by one or the other

Personally I'm a fender junkie, i cant play gibson guitars.

Fender. but dont get me wrong i love the full crank screech of a a gibson but i perfer the warm fuzz. then again i also play a epiphone swingster so go figure.

I own both Fenders and Gibsons and have no preference either way. I prefer the longer scale of Fender guitars, but prefer the body style and neck profile of Gibsons...

I have 1 Gibson and 2 Fenders, almost 3 lol.

I am a Gibson man all the way. Gibson just got it perfect - i've had to delve deep into Fender to find what I like.

I've always had one fundamental issue with Fender - the fact that alot of the guitars look like they were painted by this son of a bitch



Both have many positives about them - but Gibson have no negatives Perfection is perfection.

Also - I prefer the raised bridge on a Gibson much more than the flatness of a Fender.

I don't own either cuz poor, but I've played both, and I prefer Gibson. I would love to have a Fender as well, though.

i think fender telecaster is coolest looking guitar out there, doesnt matter wat color it is lol, its something about the electronics or w/e, i dont know the pieces of electrics very well but telecaster = look awesome.

Never actually played a Gibson, so I'll null my vote.

But I'm not a huge fan of Fenders though.

well what kind of guitars do you play?

I made it fender / gibson categories because mostly every guitar follows the similar styles as those

like in ur sig, an ESP is more fenderesque

lol yeah i know. but the swingster is fuckin amazing out of my ac30 and i run it through a blues driver oooweeeee.

Actually pretty interested in a 330 or 315 but ill wait. trying to save up for a 69 or 66 strat :))))
