I just recently decided to start learning to DJ and I went out got myself a mixer (numark dm1050), and I also got a Numark Stereo IO to connect it to my laptop, I plugged in the mixer to the stereo IO and my speakers to the output RCA of the stereo IO, the speakers output just fine in Virtual DJ (also tried serato but i think that needs its own interface to work) but my mixer does not control the sound being played.
