at 1:09, exactly what does he do... I dont understand how hes doing that, is he changing notes in the chord 1 at a time(i dont think so)? or just playing certain notes in the chord, i just dont understand how he can play a chord, and make some notes stand out mroe than others unless hes just picking them(it just looks like hes strummign tho..)

that wud be dissapointing :/

i feel like he is strumming on the downstroke and plucking on the upstroke or something, or hes just picking so fast the chords are still ringing idk something like that. hes not changing the notes in the chord, his fretting hand doesnt move at all

You can do stuff similar to this, but this particular example is just two tracks. The problem with doing stuff like this is that you have to spread out the voices; because you can only play one note per string at a time, the melody needs to be either well above or well below the chords.
