This, I would go for Yamaha's.
They can get pretty pricey if you go to the higher ends, but they give the best quality for "keyboards" in my opinion.
True, Yamaha is a very reliable brand, which consistently makes fine products. I do however think the Roland V-piano's provide a far more realistic emulation of an acoustic piano's sound.
I personaly find Yamaha's clavinovo piano's sound less lifelike.
I would still endorse both, since I work at a piano store that sells both.
In the end neither can compare to an properly maintained acoustic, but the V-piano comes, almost startingly, close.
