i have a peavy windsor head (tubed) i was wondering what would be the best distion petal for it
i have a distortion factory petal. i try to teak with it but it never comes out sounding good

These guys are morons. You stick a metalcore in front of a windsor it will sound like absolute crap. How do I know? Because I have both.

For the windsor, i suggest getting a ts9 or ts808 tube screamer pedal or something close to it.

for the spider, honestly youre probably better off getting that floor switch they have. it adds a bunch of new effects, not just more distortion.

Honestly, one of my favorite "normal" distortions is the DS-20. The only problem is its a bit noisy, so it doesnt get absolute kudos from me.
