ever just feel like not playing ur instrument anymore, no matter how much you try to get into it.

lately ive been just not into playing my guitar. been playing for 2 years pretty avidly but lately i just ahvent been into it.

ill pick it up and play and mess around for like 10 min and just put it down. idk why i cant get into it anymore


any suggestions or what you do when you feel like this?

you need to find a new groove, when i play something a lot, or i constantly make rap videos, or try to write lyrics, i just get bored, things get dull, to the point to where is like i don't even wanna do it anymore.

Try to jam random stuff (impro.) with friends, always a good motivation.

No suggestions from me - I go through this every 3-6 weeks, just being bored and feeling unproductive when grabbing a guitar. Best way to avoid this is either learn a totally new song you havn't tried before, or simply put it down after 10 mins and wait till tomorrow.

Claymans suggestion is good, but if you remain unmotivated then you'll just piss your mates off.
