There aren't any free music making programs if you want them legally, but sadly almost anything is available online to download these days. FL Studio is a good place to start and Reason or Ableton Live are better once you learn a bit.

FL studio works. It isn't the greatest. Making a GOOD wobble bass is fairly difficult.

I heard Ableton Live is fantastic. I actually have a legit copy disc and code sitting oin my desk right now >< Have not installed it.

Ableton Live is what I hear most use for making dub. I use it and love it, however there is a steep steep learning curve.

Download the demo and kinda study tutorials on youtube to give yourself an idea of whether you wanna buy it or not.
w/e you do, don't buy DubTurbo. Its everywhere on google when you search for programs to make dubstep etc.. Its a terrible program with very limited sounds, I wasted $30 on it.
