Just got a Fender Telecaster left handed model at Guitar Center yesterday. Been playing it all night and I'm digging it. It was a toss up between the Telecaster and Stratocaster. Did I do a good move by grabbing the Telecaster?

Both are nice instruments imo. A little thicker and dirtier than a Strat, which is fine by me. Strats to me always sound like they lack some balls.

Lovely - Telecasters ftw! I've got a beatuiful dark red Korean made Telecaster with Seymour Duncans. It has a much faster neck than my Gibson or Ibanez, and it's the meanest sounding guitar i've played Lamb Of God on by a mile

I like it a lot, but it feels weird compared to the Strat. Strings are higher up then the strat. I'll get used to it though.

I've had a go on my friend's tele and to be quite honest i don't like it. the tone, the feel, the look... it's just not me i guess.
