We're stuck on what songs to cover...

Has to be heavy, include breakdowns and have screaming ( no singing please ^^)

No 7 string guitars/quad-bass pedal songs D;

Any suggestions?

I think Possesion from whitechapel would be a good bet if you want to make ur crowd go crazy.
erm... Well i could suggest ya some born of osiris, like open arms to damnation or bow down if u have a good drummer, pretty damn technical but enjoyable live.
unanswered by suicide silence is pretty easy if your band is starting, but you need good vocals or the song might get pretty boring.
entombment of a machine, job for a cowboy, thats a very nice song to cover.
arch enemy/nemesis, very cool and not too long so its a pretty ez song to remember and play everywhere, not alot of practice, need a gg soloer tho.
if you guys are overly epic, go for a jeff loomis intstrumental, thats fucking GG and you'll probably win a prizefor doing it perfectly hahaha (especially miles of machines)

Ahh good idea - As I Lay Dying or All That Remains - both bands have superb material

Whitechapel is difficult as its inhaling but its a suggestion.
I've suggested Unanswered but it requires a 7 string guitar or heavy transposing ><
But As I Lay Dying might do it!

just tune the guitars to Drop A on a 6
your going to need bigger strings tho

id say the hills have eyes by the acacia strain but you would need a 8 string or a 7 tuned down to drop E

start out with some as blood runs black if you want to do some deathcore stuff
in dying days/my fears have become phobias etc, its quite easy and is fun to play
