my last guitar was a ibanez rg7620 with emg707's but i sold that so i can get my car
well anyways i was thinking of getting the new ibanez rga 8 string guitar, only $800 for a mahogany body, 27" inch scale, 8 string, how could i pass that up?

Depends - IMO 8 strings are pointless. Have you "mastered" to an extent the 7 string?
