lazyness is bad... tabbing actually helps u alot.. I have problems doing things by ear as well, but ima start tabbing and take some vocal lessons to imrpove that

I'm a guitarist so no can do, just press play and slide your hand around the fretboard till you find the right note or key, then jot it down on tab notes. Use notepad you nerd
