just go with squire, its the best bang for ur buck. Either that or an ibanez.

To get a nice bass you would need to extend ur price range ofc tho

get just a tiny bit more money and if you are going squire go for the vintage vibe series basses, they actually are decent instruments, they usually go for around $260 new

squire for sure.. or just get a strat bass on eebay or something.

not much of a recommendation to make. squire is pretty much your only legible option for 200.
