The mic jacks are the 3pin connectors, and I am just wondering how do you know which mics have that connector

Also, any good suggestions for a recording mic? I just need a basic setup for a demo and it wont be in a studio, so kind of trying to just get the minimum I can. I dont know if i need a mixer or not, i like to think my voice will be good enough without that

that is the standard XLR connection. i suggest a large diaphragm condensor mic. you can find really good ones for $100.

for instance:
Audio-Technica AT2035 Cardioid
AKG PERCEPTION220 Large

dont buy a sony, if you wanna get crazy go with Neumann, be prepared to spend money.
