What are your thoughts on Berklee? Any undergrads or alumni out there?
I'm applying for a bachelors degree for either guitar or voice, not sure which I'm putting on my application yet.

I don't use jsp much any more so I'm not sure how bad it is on here, but I'd appreciate if you kept hate/trolling to yourself. Of course I'm happy to hear legitimate opinions or suggestions!

If you're going to go to Berklee, I suggest studying Composition there if they have it :)

They do indeed! I'm looking at a performance major, with a possible dual of composition, songwriting, or professional music.

Fill out FAFSA, see how much they are willing to offer you as a financial aid package. A lot of good musicians simply can't afford to go there, so you'll either need a very large college fund or a strong financial aid package.

Consider the jobs that you would want to have - session performance, producing for other musicians, engineering for other musicians, composing music for tv/film/ads, etc. You are going to want a start on whatever you are going to make your primary field of work.
