What makes you want a 7 string? Just out of curiosity.

I play a lot of deep metal. Like death metal and stuff so its good to have a 7th to drop

As a long time 7/8-sring-player, i would recommend you to get a 7-string for a REASON. You should know why you actually need it.

As a guitarist in general i would recommend you to get a 6-stringer, and learn to play guitar before moving to 7-string

Ah, i see.

I thought this would be you first guitar. If you live in US, go for a Agile Interceptor pro if you are looking for a versatile 7/8 stringer. I used to have a Agile 7.
Are you looking for some specific specs? ^^ Price range?

for the $$$ Agile can give you a good guitar. Ibanez is very well known for quality 7 strings, but i'd also check out Schecter and ESP (LTD) too.

On eebay I bet you can find some Ibanez 7 string guitars for some nice prices. And I guess getting one off eebay is Cheaper than new consitering they are a high prices guitar.
