ok so, basicly im trying to learn the scales and all the stuff around it

ive learn the whole pentatonic minor in A and major A.

here is the minor A

here is what im not getting

i know that the surrounded red scales are the actual positions, but what about the green ones? are they also positions?

im so confused right now im trying to learn guitar theory alone but its very difficult

so yeah iso answers :D

Edit : I'd like to have infos about E, A and G scales

theyre all the same? i mean, I know that its the same pattern played on a different place on the guitar, i also know my guitar notes and that E, A and G are in the same key (?? not sure) does it mean that a G scale can be played over a C chord and a C scale can be played over a G chord and A on C etc.
ive been watching videos on marty schwartz website and the video is called Minor pentatonic E extension but he is talking about the A root and playing the A minor 1st position, i dont get it

playing the A pentatonic over a D chord would be called a mode. which one? i forget. but i know what it sounds like and that is the important part, right?
