So, I've been told that all I need to do is take the nut off, spin it around, and glue it back on, but I've also been told I need to mess with the bridge too? Can anyone direct me to a in-depth tutorial of exactlyy what I need to do? Any help is appreciated :)

nut and bridge yes. if it is an expensive guitar, dont do it. the truss rod wont be used to the dramatic change in balance of tension on the neck, the neck will possibly warp.

what kind of guitar? Acoustic, electric? If electric, what kind of bridge? You'll definitely need to fix both the nut and bridge.
