i have a tab where is a (11) what is the meaning?
i don't know what means the brackets there :/

and what are the previous & next notes ?
My first guess would be that (11) means "let ring the note"
for example ---
11
---(11)---
12
---(12)---
Only the bolded note are real strokes

Listen to the song
Look at the tab
See how it fits and figure out what it means that way
Mostly it means it is a grace note, meaning it is ringing out from when it was first played.

there's no golden rule here. some people use brackets to signify harmonics (which wouldn't make sense on the 11th fret unless its a pinch) other's use it to signify tapped notes, etc... could you provide us with the tab so we can assess it?
