What is the best?
You know like you can play the song and record while you are singing.

btw: you don't need mike? you can use headphones right¨?

....no. you cant record input with an output device. i heard snowball mics are pretty good, its what we use for school but they use macs.

if your looking for a multi-track recorder, I recommend mixcraft....that is if you don't want to put your acapella on top of the song and just record your acapella on top of the song while it's playing

if you're good at editing and such, know how to copy your acapella on top of your instrumental then use sony soundforge, it's an amazing editing program.

Audacity is really nice, and if you suck you can edit your voice (just thrown that out there ;) )

This is also good, I have seen a lot of recording studios use this.

Yes, Audacity is pretty decent.
Not that advanced, free, and has alot of plugins if you want to edit your stuff.
