Dual Rectifier, its better personally, if you could pinch in a little bit more money go with a framus

I'll do some research on Framus. Thanks.

It all depends on the kind of music you want to play. I'd say the Dual Rectifier because its more versatile. It has good cleans, heavy distortion or light distortion. It's a more modern sounding amp, so if you want a more vintage tone you want something like a marshall or an orange with EL84's

Depends aha .

I personally have played on a Mesa Boogie. I loved the heavy distortion sound. Didn't try the clean but, I can say that both are probably beasts.

Having played both of those Mesas, the MkV is by far my favorite. I would still second the recommendation of getting a 5150 though, great sound at half the cost.

5150 series one to be more precise! (as opposed to a 5150 II)

However if you have cash flowing then by all means go with a Framus, their Cobra amp makes me shiver every time i listen to it.

Don't really know where I can purchase a Framus.
