Yeah every time I try to compose some kind of melody on my guitar it allways get melancholy, yah know, dark and creepy.

It is never happy in anyway.

What am I doing wrong ?!?!?
I've played the guitar for more than 3 years, so I kinda know the whole fretboard, but I just can't crack this key :O

You are doing nothing wrong. If your music sounds sad, it sounds sad. That's actually a good thing. Sad music tends to hit people harder.

Do you know your theory well enough to know whether you're playing a minor or major key? A minor key will usually sound melancholy while a major key sounds happy and more for what you're trying to do.

Yeah i know the different.

But usually when I make a song I just play around, like jamming, and if I find something cool, i use it.

If I make something in a major scale, it doesn'get the right feeling yah know, and then I just throw it away (:

Use major scales

Minor scales often make the music sound dark

If i could hear it i could prolly tell you why.

Why do you want her to turn on u ? lol jk

Ok so yeah, just use this progression:
Em D C B7
And play it really fast
There's no way you can turn that progression into a sad song.
