It's a great demo first of all. Totally shows what your goin' for. I like the roll of the guitar player. Lots of melody and not just rhythmic chords. The tone is blah though but hey, it's a demo.

The drumming gives it a 'Hella' taste which is cool with this sound (clean, Mute Math sounding drums) and instrumentation but I'd like to hear some moments like Brad Mehldau. Some groove spots. Would leave room for some cool Guitar/Piano stuff to pop out. That's just personal taste though. That might not be what you're going for but it's always a nice release in a tune when there's a pocket, I starve for that in your tunes. Not a whole tune like Brad, just some moments within the tunes.

Anyway, keep at er'. Sounds great.

Here's a good pocketed Brad Tune. It's cool song but the groove doesn't start till 1:05ish and picks up about a minute after:

i didnt get to use my actual guitar setup for the recording so thats why the tone is garbage.
Some of our other songs might have that grrove your looking for its more jazz than anything
we recording again next week
