I just recently bought a guitar and have been trying to learn to play the song

When I try to play it, it doesn't sound as alternative as it should. I tuned my guitar to a drop C and have my amp settings at

BASS 5 MID4 TRE8 PRE10 DIST GAIN 5

my pedal is at max distortion.

any suggestions?

gain 4 treble 6 middle 3 bass 4 and pre idk.. maybe like 6-7 ish
and then tone your pedal to get the sound

Turn the distortion down to 2 or 3.
