A good blues setup? anything marshall is good MINUS the mg series. stay away from digital effects and solidstate amps, tube amps give you the best sound whether its death metal or some classic blues
not sure what guitar your playing either.
i play a les paul w/ emg 81/85 through a MESA double rec. but i play alot of metal.

Dont use any distortion Line 6's carry alot of that.
Also the sound depends on what kind of guitar you have too

A bluesy sound could be achieved by turning the volume up so the amp is reasonably loud, putting bass and overdrive about halfway up (equally), and putting treble and mid-range about a third of the way up (equally). This should create a muffled sound which can provide a bluesy lead effect when using the rhythm pickup. Then again, I would probably use a different amp for blues.
