Hi,

my plan is to create my own guitar.
i´m gonna buy a good neck, but rest should be selfcrafted.

Body will be in mahagoni,
neck probably mahagoni/rosewood

here my first try on the body-shape: (rate plz)


Neck is from a Ibanez ART 300 ... so head and inlays may change.

Pickups maybe EMG81, but i still don´t know.

looks tiny

1) I really dislike the body shape... I take it your a fan of weird shapes à la B.C Rich?
2) If you're going with that shape, the headstock needs a change, it REALLY does not match.
3) The only good thing I like about it are the inlays, especially the 12th fret one. Diamonds could use a change.

Other than that, meh. 5/10.

You should go with a maple neck, rosewood fingerboard imo. Alder or mahogany body.

My perfect guitar would be a modified strat body type with clock inlays and devils' tail headstock...wait it already exists, it's called Caparison

I'd wish for a caparison, but they are so fucking expensive!..

I love my ESP nonetheless

dunno if this fits better.
probably its better in playability (cuz of wider cutaway and better shape for your shoulder)

hard to crate something good without making a copy of SG,LP or Srath ^^
