what do you guys reccommend I play classic rock to metal only the older stuff though, newest things I play are three doors down...

fender makes great affordable tube amps. crate vintage tube amps are nice too. ofc you can spend more for a better amp.

btw go used and retube it.

Oh and btw Jet City Amps are freaking awesome, I really want to buy one of them soon. They are actually designed by Mike Soldano, so its a kickass way to get a Soldano while only playing 1/3rd the price.

Peavey classic 30 or 50, if your looking for a jam/small show amp, has a beautiful sound, i play alot of david gilmour type stuff through it with no peddals and its sooooo awesome. Highly recomend.
