Unless you have a 7 string guitar or a baritone, good luck getting a standard 6 string to F lol

Like Sega (Name change? :O) said, I think Meshuggah uses a baritone.

You'll never be able to tune that low with a normal 6 string

Meshuggah use eight string guitars with two extra bass strings tuned down one half step.

Tuning down that low without a scale length of at least 27" is going to require extremely high action or result in either a lot of string/fret buzz. If you really want to play along to Meshuggah on a normal guitar, try tuning up one half step from standard, you can focus on the technical aspects of playing rather than simply reveling in the low tuning. Meshuggah's polyrhythmic and over-the-bar playing is something great to learn, but the extremely low tuning is exclusively used to emphasize the percussive aspect of the guitar playing.

thats only 1 fret up from E. I think using a Cappo on the first fret would work

yea, 1 fret up - then a whole octave down

although maybe the best option would be to play it in the higher octave

This lol.
Messhugah use 7string. Bad for your guitar neck, especially if you do the downtune yourself.
