Howdy fellow drummers!

I'm currently looking for a new drum kit to purchase, but I'm having some trouble deciding which one to get... (Not acoustic!)

I've seen the RET Percussion ones, and they seem super awesome. They have this acoustic look and feel, but theres one flaw... No one seems to have them, so I'm wondering if anyone here on jsp got/tried one. If I'll get an RET drum kit I'll go for the cheapest one, the Stealth LE - 1.995$ - but its kinda expensive for me and probably expensive for every teen out there...

Theres the RET website.

Also there are the Roland sets, and many ppl got those and they recommend them.

Which kit do you have? Which one would you recommend? Pros, cons?

Thanks! ;D

roland is a very safe bet. plenty of sound upgrades you can get for them and add-ons are pretty easy/cheap to get too.

An acoustic drum set is looking better and better... The e-drums are waay too expensive.

So please, do you have any tips about acoustic drum sets? ;)

get a pacific kit (best for the money) and saluda cymbals (cost half as much as the 4 giants and sound better too)

get a gretsch catalina maple
cheap drumkits and from reviews from myself and pretty much every1 on the drumming site i am active on they are the best middle of the road drum kit

p.s. cymbals such as saluda are pretty much an absoloute must try before you buy

obviously there not going to be shit, but if youve never had experience with their sounds, u need to hear them
dont waste money
