2000 Watt DBDrive Amp
2x 10" Rockford Fosgate P2 (Punch) Subwoofers

These are fosgates, i know i can can good bass out of them, but im having trouble tuning everything
Plus i have a few questions

Not the technical answer, but what are low/high pass filters on my amp for? And what should i put them at?

And im trying to be able to have CLEAR/CLEAN bass, it seems like my subs are vibrating too much and like coughing on some notes like they cant keep up
I just so aggravated and not sure how to tune it, do i turn my stereo bass up? do i turn my amp all the way up? all the way down? do i set my sub settings on my stereo for max? mid low?

I want my subs to just play the bass, it seems like they are transferring every little vibration through it and all the different sounds.. the sub cant handle all of the different frequencies at once. I just want the bass, is there a certain tuning?
