Honestly, this thread is fail... Who has said that technicality is more important than melody in song-writing? What will this prove exactly? Does proving that melody is more important that technicality mean that technicality has no importance? Metalheads aren't choosing technicality over melody, they are simply choosing technicality+melody over melody.
