does it really change something on the sound? really, ive watched like 10 videos of compressor pedals and i cant hear any difference..
im trying to get David Gilmour's sound, from the list of his gear it says he use a compressor cs-2 from Boss
anyhow, can anyone explain me clearly what this pedal change the sound for?
am i going to notice the change if i buy one?
thanks

Good compressors don't alter your sound much. They even picking dynamic out (especially string-to-string), and they add sustain.

The ruck do u want his tone for? Put the gain treble and presence on 10/10 and wear ur guitar as low ass possible
taking away the dynamics in blues is like building a house on sand
