ok so, im looking for ''the'' solo guitar, but an affordable one, and since strats are amazing guitars, im wondering if the Squier is also a good solo guitar.

i currently own a Ibanez Gio GRG 170 DX, but i dont really like the sound of it, and imnot really comfortable with it..

wich one is the best? or do u know ny other guitar that is also good?

What genre?
If anything rock or heavier, Ibanez or ESP/LTD, maybe jackson
Other than that a stratocaster is really good.
If you want very good go with PRS (Maybe the SE series since they are cheaper)
Squier is crap, don't go with that.

yeah i have limited budget so thats why i was lookin at the squier

Strat or a Les Paul

save your money. Dont buy anything until you have around 500-600 bucks

Buy a good jackson...

I would suggest you save up at least 500 and buy a strat

I have a Les Paul Classic.. I paid about 300$ for it, and it works great

Then save your money and buy a guitar you will keep a long long time.
Either a stratocaster, or like I said, a PRS SE custom 24 or custom 22. Both are discontinued though.

just get a mij or mim strat used for like $250 and mod it up when you get more money. only playing solos sounds boring too, but whatever floats your boat

also, squier isn't too bad for pre-modding guitars.
