Hey everyone,

I play the spanish guitar since +o-13 years and I've tryed a bunch of different brands of strings, either for classical & flamenco playing.
I'd like to know which ones do you guys tryed so far and your opinion about them.
Especially about the D string weakness and this common disturbing difference between D & G string which you find in several famous brands.

I used to play with these most of the time:

Savarez (pink / yellow)
Savarez Alliance
Savarez Corum
Augustine (purp)
Pro Arté
Hannabach

Those two last are for now, my favorite.

Try Aranjuez or plain e ball

This may sound weird but I actually prefer random cheap stock strings...I just like the feel better

i play with ernie balls on my electric im not really an acoustic guitarist but on that i use the martins

I would recomend you to try D'addario, they will give you an excellent sound and will last longer in comparison with other brands.

I bought few months ago (or a month ago, not sure, lol) these strings, and I gotta say, they're damn good, and cheap :

You call that cheap :O? here in Montreal Canada, they sell a pack for 7,99$can :\ 11€ is probably 15$can++ :\

The ones I've listed on the first post are about 11 to 16€ as well.

Can't really find much cheaper down here :x
