I am going to buy this guitar in 2 days, any opinions about it or experience with it?
I personally think it sounds like nothing else.. it is really a great acoustic guitar :)
Let me know what you guys think about it.
Thanks.

You're going to pay like more than half the price for only the Gibson brand.

If you're aiming for a very good acoustic, just go for a high-end Taylor. Should be the same price as the j-45 standard, but WAY better IMHO.

The name-price thing is true for some products but can't say the same for this one, i've played all the guitars i do know about in the range of my price(1500 euro) and nothing sounds like this.
I've been considering Martins/Matons/Taylors , but nothing i could "manage" to try with my hands has ever pleased me the way the J-45 did with his warm tone.
Obviously this is just a personal opinion :)

/edit

forgot to mention, this sounds even better than most of 2k+ euro guitars, imo..^^

Glad to hear it then, I've never been able to play any really High-end stuff from Taylor/Martin or even Gibson (Acoustic-wise), but I'm glad to hear you're saying it's actually worth it and not only paying for the brand.

To be honest, Gibson is kinda famous for overpricing their stuff.. sometimes it's true, sometimes not..
I honestly consider myself not one of those guys who just buy the guitar because it's a Gibson or a Fender or whatever.
The only thing i am in trouble with is the ampli i should buy for this guitar..
I honestly have no idea.. i already own a valvestate marshall for my strato.. and have no clue what i should buy for the amplified acoustic(i used to play my old amplified acoustic on a random marshall acoustic ampli). My original idea was to spend 2k euro total for guitar and a new ampli(i gave my old ampli away). Do you guys know what i can find for 500 euro for an acoustic(brand new or used it's the same, even if i doubt i will find any good new acoustic ampli for this price)

Also, another very good guitar around this price is the Martin HD28 which is even more expensive, but i had a try with that and have to say that the J-45 still owns(for my taste obviously).
